What "Managers" must do to execute strategy successfully????

There are various method managers can do to execute strategy success. First of all, managers need to build the organizational capabilities required for successful strategy execution but it must be supported by procedures that can facilitate it. Managers also need to adopt best practices and business processes that drive continuous improvement and also try to exercise strong leadership to propel strategy execution forward. But, the most important thing is managers need to staff the organization with the right people for executing the strategy. If this work functionally then the managers maybe can see the success.

Good Corporate Culture Drive Company to the Maximum Profit

The corporate culture in a company play as an important role in striving higher profit for the company. To achieve the company goals, the top management need also to build up the good and excellent corporate culture to the employer by providing good and comfort working environment. The tight bonds between employee and employer can drive the employer to be more loyal and also can motivate them to perform the best. If the company already set up the good Corporate Culture then to keep it on the tract or Perpetuating the Culture  the process is actually start from the process of Screening and selecting new employees, Systematic indoctrination of new members,Vocal support by senior managers, Rewarding those who display cultural norms, Ceremonies honoring employees, and lastly Telling and retelling of the firm’s legends.

However sometimes because of the certain changes like New or revolutionary technologies, Diversification into new businesses, Rapid growth of the firm, Merger or acquisition of another firm, Shifting internal conditions and New challenges in the marketplace the company Corporate Culture need some changes and improvement to stay compete in the market.

Among all of the company and organization in Malaysia I think the Corporate Culture in HPA Industries Sdn. Bhd. is different from the other organization. It is because the company Corporate Culture apply and use the Islamic basic. An example of it, before start working all of the worker need to have wudu' first and together in a group read surah yassin. I think this culture can also apply to the other organization other than seeking profit we also can gain "barakah" from ALLAH.

Ok... Finish babbler...hehehe.

Strategic Plan and Management in a "CORPORATE WORLD"

Running business is not easy that we always think especially when the business is become really big and listed in the Bursa Malaysia. It is takes a lot of effort in planning and managing it. The risk need to bear by the top level management in how they are planning to do to maintain and increase the profit for the business. In the corporate strategy the company can choose either 1 to use, the first one is diversification and the second one is create multibusiness company.

If we choose for the diversification or create multibusiness company, actually we have 4 other types of diversification and multibusiness can be choose that suitable for the business.

  • Sticking closely with the existing business lineup and pursuing opportunities presented by these businesses. like what had been done by the Sime Darby Plantation, they made a "JV" with one of the company in Thailand to produce the end use of palm oil. So the Sime Darby plantation is not just only focusing int the business of plantation palm tree.

  • Broadening the current scope of diversification by entering additional industries. This strategy use by the UMW Holding where they "Sub Business Unit" to the 4 unit. Automotive assembly and distribution, Automotive components and lubricants, OEM and REM heavy equipment and oil and Gasdrilling service industries.

  • Divesting some businesses and retrenching to a narrower collection of diversified businesses with better overall performance prospects. An example for this steps is Air Asia, where air Asia narrow down the business line by provide Tune Hotel, Insurance and Tune talk. And overall performance from every line give big impact to the Air Asia profit performance.
  • Restructuring the entire firm by divesting some businesses and acquiring others to put a whole new face on the firm’s business lineup. MAS Airline faced trouble in their financial so to recover it back they think the MAS catering is not efficient in their business, so they restructure the MAS catering by passing the share to the other company which is Berahim company.
W     Whatever we decide to use for the diversification to the company by entering into related business or entering into unrelated business or entering into both business related and unrelated business it have their own advantages and disadvantages. Just bear in your mind risk is everywhere, be prepared and choose the best for your company. Diversification give opportunity to the company to expand into businesses whose technologies and products complement its present business, resources and capabilities can be used as valuable competitive assets in other businesses, costs can be reduced by cross-business sharing or transfer of resources and capabilities and the company can transferring a strong brand name to the products of other businesses helps drive up sales and profits of those businesses.....

One fine day I will build up my business!!!!!!!

Ok sharing session with the founder of O-SHIMA JAPANESE RESTAURANT....
A lot of effort and struggle need to be fight in order to build up and maintain a business. Do not just always take it easy to be a good and successful businessman. To be a successful businessman we need knowledge and always hunger to gain more knowledge in the business, always keep doing research about the market and the rivals because it will make us be prepared and find an opportunity. doing business actually is a form of ibadah, so we have a responsible towards the customer like in the foods industry we have to make sure the foods is halal and hygiene when serve the foods to the customer and also we need to pay zakat from the business in order to help the needy and poor. The most important thing I get from the sharing session is "Do Not Ask For Money (Ikhlas For ALLAH) Money will Come". This is the way for Muslim to run business....

Going international???? what should I do????

I am a businessman that really want to expand my business in the international market. which one should I choose to enter in the international market. First just export my product and sale it at the market and I can cut my cost of capital but at the same time I am loose channel control in managing my product line of business. Second choice is licensing and franchising strategy and  I can generate income from royalties and franchising fees, but I have to face the risk in how to adapting to local market taste and expectation. Third choice I can choose is using foreign subsidiary strategies that can create quick large-scale market entry and I am also have to bear the costs of acquisition and the complexity of acquisition process. Other than that, I am also need to consider the other things like the strength of the market that I want to enter, the opportunity among the rivals and their weakness and also i need to identify the location-based advantages of conducting certain chain activities of the firm in a particular country. So much things to do before I can bravely going to the international. I need to keep strong and always be prepared..hehehe.. GO GO GO fighting....

    Offensive and Defensive

ok what should we do if something happened to the business??? like our business face failure or see something opportunity in the market...should we just keep quiet and doing nothing or wait and learn something first in recovering or look and see first what happen to the rival or tacking risk by trying to attack the market..In the business line we have to be more creative and try to create something different from the rivals if we enter in the red ocean market or be the first one dominant in the blue ocean market...The future of the business is in your hand so be careful and also be brave to challenge yourself to take risk and grab the opportunity to achieve the goals. Sometimes we just have to defend and sometimes we also need need to be an offense.... whatever comes around just stay calm and do not panic then you can think carefully for the next step...hehehe

    MYDIN.. I am coming!!

    Mydin (broad cost - leadership)
why we need to pay more if we can pay less for the same product. Perhaps if you are really want to budget in buying everything why not you just shopping to Mydin.Mydin is the price leader by offered lower price but still care about the quality of the products Mydin offered in foods, household, soft-lines and hard-lines such as stationery, toys and others. Based on my simple research I was made, I think Mydin could be the low cost provider  by striving to achieve lower overall costs than rivals on products that attract a broad spectrum of buyers buy cutting all the cost as long as Mydin can. One of the way is by motivating employees through incentives and company culture. When I went to Mydin I can see many the employees of Mydin is a foreigner (Bangla) hehe..Mydin also train and treat their employees to be loyal until they can work for a long time, sale their own brand in products rather than sale import products and  offered customer to buy in bulk. So that is why Mydin can be the leader in this business among it rivals like Tesco, Giant and others.. Ok lets go to mydin now...hehe
